For me, the most exciting model at the moment is the IKEA STARKVIND. It is a modern, stylish, and unique air purifier that looks and feels like a chair or a table with the addition of an air purifier. In addition to its outstanding design, which matches many products in the IKEA collection, this model is characterized by the possibility of connecting to the IKEA Home smart system and the most important option for us, the connection to HomeKit. This air purifier features a three-stage filtration technology consisting of a pre-filter, a HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter, which is not included in the basic version but is available as a separate purchase.
Frankly, I don’t like that the carbon filter is unavailable in the basic version, and I don’t like that IKEA does not use a True HEPA filter. Suppose the air quality in the room exceeds a certain value. In that case, it turns on all the air purifiers I have in the house or switches the air purifier to maximum speed. Scenes are fascinating because they allow you to control several different devices in a few clicks.
An example of a scene I activated at home and used for a while.
