Dyson is a big name in the air purifier market, producing some really outstanding devices. I like Dyson’s innovative design, advanced filtration technology, and great build quality. Levoit is also a well-known brand with various innovative and well-built devices.

This time, I will compare one of the newest Levoit air purifiers, the Levoit Vital 200S, with the Dyson TP02, which is an older but still gold model from Dyson.
The Levoit Vital 200S is a medium-sized air purifier suitable for rooms of 380 sq. ft., while the Dyson TP02, even though it’s a bit larger, covers almost three times smaller rooms of 110 sq. ft. Frankly, I expected much larger coverage from Dyson, especially given its high price.
Both have HEPA and carbon filters, but the Levoit has a washable pre-filter, which is not only easy to clean but also great for capturing large particles such as dust, hair, pet dander, and similar.
The smart app is a characteristic of both, as well as an air quality sensor and auto mode. Additionally, they have some more advanced features, which I have compared in the table below.

Levoit Vital 200S Vs Dyson TP02 – Video Comparison
Final Thoughts: Which one is the Winner?
After comparing their performance, noise levels, and operating costs and analyzing their features, I have decided on the winner in this comparison. In my opinion, the Levoit Vital 200S is a much better buying option and a superior choice compared to the Dyson TP02.
The Levoit is more affordable, easier to maintain, has a more advanced smart app, features a washable pre-filter, and has much larger airflow.
The Dyson TP02 is also a fantastic air purifier, but I don’t think it justified its high price, especially when compared to the Levoit Vital 200S.
