Air Mega 300 3 Special Modes
Airmega 300 has 3 modes to run on. Auto, Eco and Sleep mode.
Auto Mode:
The best mode if you ask me because the air purifier will adjust its work on purifying air according to the pollution in the air. If the contamination is high, then it will work faster and harder, and if the air is clean, then the work will be light.
Eco:
Eco mode is also useful to use in situations when you are not in the room, and you don’t really need top quality air at the moment. An air purifier will monitor the air, and if the air quality is good in remaining 10 minutes then the fans will shut down, and energy will be saved. But as soon as the pollution in the air rise then the air purifier will turn the fans back on.
Sleep Mode:
Unfortunately, 300 model does not have a smart auto mode for the sleep mode. That means that sleep mode will need to turn on manually. That is not a big problem because when you go to sleep, you can just press the button and sleep mode will be activated, Fan speed will be reduced, and air purifier will not produce any noise. You can sleep like a baby while Airmega 300 keeps the air clean.
Airmega 300 uses true HEPA filter to remove all the airborne particles. It can remove 99.97% of particles. All the particles like mold spores, pet dander, allergens, pollen, and dust. It also has an activated carbon filter which is extremely good at removing bad odor like smoke, pet odor, kitchen odor and even some gases. Dirt on the filters is also monitored, and you will be notified when your filters get too dirty. But keep in mind that if you use it in filthy conditions filter may get polluted faster. And for the best usage, it is smart to keep the prefilter clean. Airmega 300 has the washable pre-filter which you should clean at least once per month. By doing that you may prolong your HEPA filter life for an additional month or two.
