Philips and Xiaomi are globally recognized brands that have a wide variety of products in their palettes. In this article, I will compare two, although dimensionally very different, but still very similar air purifiers, the Philips Series 800 and the Xiaomi Mi 3H.
Philips Series 800 is a small air purifier, cylindrical in shape, with a few advanced options, which is intended for rooms up to 176 sq. ft. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 3H is a much larger air purifier with many advanced options, which covers rooms of up to 484 sq. ft.
The three-stage filtration technology is characteristic of both devices, but with one crucial difference, which is that only the Xiaomi uses a True HEPA filter, which is why, in my opinion, it performed better in the performance tests.
In the table below, I have compared all the most important specifications of these two air purifiers, based on which you can compare which air purifier is better according to which criteria.

Which One Is Better?
Frankly, I knew which air purifier would win at the very beginning of this comparison. The reason is that I have used both air purifiers in my space for a long time, and without tests, I could easily say which is the better choice by my criteria.
Coincidence or not, my criteria matched the test results, according to which the Xiaomi Mi 3H is a better buying option than the Philips Series 800. There are several reasons for this decision, of which I would single out better performance, a larger and longer-lasting filter, much larger room coverage, and many more smart options.
All in all, these are two high-quality air purifiers, and I’m sure any of them would satisfy your needs. If you have questions regarding the Philips and Xiaomi air purifiers, do not hesitate to comment in the comment box below.
