Philips is a globally recognized brand with a wide variety of products available. Recently, I have been particularly interested in their line of air purifiers, specifically the Philips Series 800 air purifier. And for this review, I will compare it with the Levoit Core 300S.

These are portable air purifiers designed for small rooms. The Levoit Core 300S covers rooms of up to 219 sq. ft., while the Philips Series 800 is designed for slightly smaller spaces, up to 176 sq. ft. They share a similar construction and airflow, with both models drawing air in through openings at the bottom and then releasing it through the fan grilles on top.
Regarding the filtration technology, the Levoit Core 300S uses a proven Levoit’s 3-in-1 filter, while the Philips Series 800 also uses a three-stage filtration technology but with different filtration layers. A significant difference between the two models is that the Levoit Core 300S uses a high-quality True HEPA filter, while the Philips model does not.

Which One Does It Better?
I must admit, this comparison was a tough call. Both of these air purifiers boast some excellent features, high-quality filters, and made fantastic results in tests.
However, after careful analysis and comparison, I have concluded that the Levoit Core 300S is the better buying option. It performed slightly better, uses a True HEPA filter, and includes many more smart features than the Philips. In addition, it can connect with a smart app and be voice-controlled.
