What makes the Hathaspace HSP001 and Levoit Core 400S are their amazing features, outstanding performance, and great value for money. In this article, I will do an in-depth presentation and comparison of these two air purifiers’ features, characteristics, and performance, and will determine which one is a better buying option.
These air purifiers have many advanced features, but the air quality sensor, air quality indicator, and auto mode are my favorite. The Levoit went one step further with its VeSync smart app, which makes it easier to use the air purifier daily.
What I don’t like about the Hathaspace is the lack of sleep mode, filter reset indicator, and smart app features. On the other hand, all these come with the Core 400S.
Regarding filtration technology, the Hathaspace uses a 5-stage filtration technology, while the Levoit uses its well-known three-stage filtration technology. The Levoit Core 400S is CARB certified; it doesn’t produce any ozone and is 100% safe to use.
Let’s jump to the comparison of these air purifiers’ specifications.

Which One Does It Better?
The Hathaspace HSP001 is a great air purifier with many trump cards. It is one of the quietest air purifiers I have tested; it performed well in performance tests and has some exciting features.
However, the Levoit Core 400S showed slightly better performance; it is much more affordable for maintenance and can connect with the smart app and more. All these are the reasons I choose the Levoit Core 400S as the winner in this comparison.
