On the market saturated with innovation and smart technology, we rarely encounter minimalistic devices that are not studded with smart options but still do the job they are intended to at the highest level. One such device is the Blueair 211+, a minimalist air purifier without many advanced options but highly efficient and reliable.
Oppositely, we have the Levoit LV-PUR131, a slightly more futuristic air purifier with a few advanced/smart features that simplify daily use.
Both devices use high-quality filtration technology, consisting of a pre-filter, True HEPA filter, and activated carbon filter. Blueair additionally has HEPASilent technology, essentially the fourth filtration stage. Apart from that, the only more important difference I would mention is the much larger coverage, as much as 540 sq. ft. for Blueair 211+, against 322 sq. ft., what is the coverage of the Levoit air purifier.
In this article, I will compare the specifications, test results, efficiency, and all other parameters of these two air purifiers. You will find out below whether the minimalism that the Blueair 211+ exudes is enough or whether the smart options on the Levoit LV-PUR131 change the course of this review.

Which One Does It Better?
What I liked about the Levoit LV-PUR131 air purifier is that it is a little quieter during operation, is slightly more affordable to maintain, and has a smart sensor.
However, the Blueair 211+ performed much better, scored better in the smoke test, and, most importantly, is much stronger and covers much larger rooms. These are the reasons why I picked the Blueair 211+ as a better buying choice than the Levoit LV-PUR131.
